Professional Background

Gayle Michelle is the sole proprietor of Gayle Michelle Mediates, a mediation service company offering dispute resolution and conflict management.  Gayle Michelle effectively mediates to get issues resolved facilitating productive communication and moving parties through negotiation to successful settlement.  With over 20 years of experience as a Mediator, Real Estate Broker, Risk Management Coordinator, and Human Resources Professional, hundreds have achieved amicable agreements by working with her signature Rules of Engagement and Strategies to meet specific interests, goals and concerns.

Beyond her private mediation practice, Gayle actively volunteers, assisting juveniles with their conflicts at the Girls Rehabilitation Facility, mediating for community and court ordered mediations for the National Conflict Resolution Center, and providing mediation trainings and presiding as a mediator for The Legal Aid Society of San Diego (LASSD).

 

Gayle is known for her efficient, friendly, neutral non-judgmental approach and expertise in gaining cooperation with difficult personalities.  She is committed to facilitating peaceful discussions for all parties to find the best solutions to their issues of contention.  From initial contact through settlement discussions, Gayle impartially navigates difficult conversations and guides parties expeditiously helping individuals, families, businesses, counsel and their clients settle a wide variety of concerns in a cooperative, future-focused problem-solving manner. 

 

Gayle earned her Credential as a Mediator and holds Certificates in Introductory and Advanced Mediation Skills from the National Conflict Resolution Center (NCRC).  She completed CA. Western School of Law’s Juvenile Mediation Training Program through the Legal Aid Society and studied at the Real Estate Mediation Center under Peter Robison, a Pepperdine Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution instructor.  Gayle holds a Professional Standards Administrator Certification to function in a Professional Standards Ethics Hearing for the California Association of Realtors® (CAR), and attended Professional Standards Committee and Board of Directors trainings for the San Diego Association of Realtors® (SDAR).  Gayle received her BS in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
